The June 17, 2010 Senior's of Saint Andrew Church had guest speaker, Father Bill Kauffman, Chaplain, National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourds, Emmitsburg. Father spoke about prayers & reflection, and further discussed bringing your prayers to the Blessed Mother. |

2009 Parishioners of the Year. Father Bateman asked around "who might be a worthy recipient of Parishioners of the year for 2009". Everyone offered him the same family name. Being told that this family does so much here at Saint Andrew Parish - some of it is seen by all - but most of it is behind the scenes. At Sunday Mass Father Bateman announce that the "Parishioners of the Year" for 2009 are Ralph & Anne Hefner. They were asked to come forward as the parish has a Papal Blessing from Pope Benedict XVI for them. |

Saint Andrew the Apostle’s Nativity
Scene has been placed in the church yard on
Waynesboro’s Main Street. The Nativity Scene was created by
Harry Blades, Deputy Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus
#2068. He was assisted in placing the scene by Grand Knight
Peter Skehan. The Nativity scene was designed from the
Knights of Columbus Christmas car emblem. |
