The Pastoral Life Ministry fosters a sense of belonging among the members of the parish. The programs and activities strengthen and support the members of the parish as a community of faith.
Bingo—Sponsored by the local Knights of Columbus on Wednesday nights in the School Hall. Cash prizes are awarded. A portion of the proceeds are returned to the Parish. Refreshment stand is provided with proceeds going to the Parish Cemetery Fund.
Council of Catholic Women (CCW)—A women’s organization of the Parish providing social activities and service to the Parish. All women of the Parish may join. Meetings are held monthly.
Father/Son Breakfast—Held annually around Father’s Day at a local restaurant for all fathers and sons of the Parish. Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.
Knights of Columbus—Council 2068 of Waynesboro is a fraternal organization providing service to the Parish and community. Catholic men, ages 18 and above, in good standing with the Catholic Church are eligible to join. They sponsor an annual college scholarship program. Meetings are held monthly. A small annual dues is required.
Men’s Basketball—During the winter months the School Hall is available for basketball activities.
Mother/Daughter Banquet—Held annually around Mother’s Day in the School Hall for all mothers and daughters of the Parish. A small fee is charged. Food and entertainment are provided. The men of the Parish serve the ladies.
Nursery—Babysitting services are provided in the School Building during the 10:00/10:45 a.m. Sunday Mass. Adult volunteer supervision is provided. There is no charge for nursery services
Parish Picnic—Held annually in summer or fall at a local park for all members of the Parish. A small fee is charged. Food, games, and entertainment are provided. Raffle tickets are sold for cash prizes.
Youth Group—Youth in grades 9 through 12 gather for social and service activities during the school year. Leadership is provided by adult volunteers. Meetings are held on a regular basis during the school year.
